We collect information you provide when applying for certification, using our verification services, or contacting us. This includes organisation and individual names, contact details, certification scope and audit records.
Certification data is used to conduct assessments, issue certificates, publish to the Global Verification Registry™, and maintain TrustChain™ records. Contact data is used to communicate about your certification.
Certificate numbers, seal codes, standard names, scope summaries and certification status are published to our public Global Verification Registry™ for verification purposes. This is a core function of certification.
Active certification records are retained for the lifetime of the certification plus 10 years. TrustChain™ and Blockchain Verification Ledger™ records are permanent by design.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data. Requests relating to certification records may be limited by legal and accreditation obligations.
